Company History

Bluegrass Private Investigations is a diverse group of individuals from backgrounds that include government, law enforcement, private industries and business. Our team was established in the Central Kentucky area, and reaches north into Cincinnati. This diversity in areas of expertise, as well as location, provides our clients with a well-rounded and thorough scope of service. We approach each case as a team, drawing from the experience of each of our investigators, and utilizing those that will be most effective to that case.

BGPI was founded by Stephen T. Corbin. Mr. Corbin’s background includes military experience, working in the private sector as a commercial pilot for many years, and working as a Federal Officer, working within the Federal Government and owning and operating his own business. It was during those years of personal business ownership that Mr. Corbin saw a need for a Private Investigative Firm in the Central Kentucky area that offered a more comprehensive strategy to meeting the needs of both individuals as well as corporate clients. It was then that he began to develop the mission statement and the framework for Bluegrass Private Investigations.

In assembling this team, Mr. Corbin has drawn from the various backgrounds of his own work experience. He has both men and women that have worked in local Law Enforcement, as well as former military people who have retired from that branch of government. Many of our investigators have worked for the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security and have held National Security Clearances. He also has many investigators that have worked in the private sector in areas such as computers, insurance, accounting, medical, banking and even sales. Our wide-range of work history offers our clients the best possible group of individuals able to handle all aspects of any investigative needs. In essence, Bluegrass Private Investigations is capable, competent and qualified to handle whatever investigative assignment our clients will encounter.

It is the goal of Bluegrass Private Investigations to fulfill the needs of our clients in an honorable, ethical manner. We know that we exist as a company only due to our customers. We rely on our customers, and their goals become our goals. Therefore, our success as an investigation firm is directly associated and contingent upon our client’s success. Consequently, our investigators and office staff conduct every investigation with the belief and attitude that our client’s objective and our objective are one in the same.

Bluegrass Private Investigations also understands the sensitive and confidential nature of the cases we work on. Maintaining the confidentiality of our clients and handling the investigation in a sagacious manner is the foundation of our case work. We are committed to the principles of Professionalism, Accountability and Trustworthiness. We do not compromise on these morals. There are so many elements of the investigative process that are varied and unable to be managed. However, confidentiality, professionalism and honesty are within the scope of our abilities and we pledge to our clients to uphold these virtues.
